Printing refers to the technology of transferring the ink to the surface of paper, fabric, leather and other materials through plate making, ink application, pressurization and other processes to reproduce the contents of the original manuscript in batches.
In a broad sense, printing includes pre-press, printing, post-press and various processes and processes related to graphic and text reproduction. It has a series of complex production processes and standards, and has a large number of professional terms.

reflexive | Refers to a printing method that saves printing plates. Let the paper be printed on one side first, and then turn the paper left and right and reverse the bottom surface after drying. It is the process of printing on the back of the paper without changing the printing plate. |
Flying ink | The printing machine rotates fast and the ink body is not thick enough, and the centrifugal force makes the ink splash. |

ink line | Draw a gauge line on the printing plate, so that it is just printed on the gauge position of the paper, and the needle position can be monitored at a glance. |

needle position | The edge position of the printed sheet. The length of the paper, the printing registration and cutting need to have the needle position to align. |
click | The printing machine stops rotating, and the reason is that the paper feed is not smooth or the double feed triggers the safety device. |
Pinching | Too much paper is caught between the impression cylinder and the blanket cylinder, triggering a safety sensor that stops the printing press. |
Bottom | A term for a printing mishap in which a layer of ink is too thick to dry and stains the back of the paper it is pressed against. |
Feida | Refers to the conveying device for feeding paper in a printing press. |
paste | Due to the part of the ink overflowing on the printing plate, the imprint on the substrate is not clear, which is a fault of offset printing. |
