Beijing Institute of Graphic Technology & Wuluo Technology Printing Intelligent Engineering Joint Laboratory officially unveiled
The unveiling ceremony of the joint laboratory of printing intelligent engineering of Beijing Institute of Graphic Arts and Beijing Wulue Technology Co., Ltd. and the launch of the research topic of the maturity model of book and periodical printing equipment support intelligent manufacturing were successfully held at Beijing Institute of Graphic Arts. Gao Zhenqing, director of the Research Office of Beijing Institute of Printing Technology, said that the establishment of the Printing Intelligent Engineering Joint Laboratory is to build a leading printing intelligent technology research and development and application demonstration platform, improve the technological innovation and transformation and upgrading of the printing industry, cultivate intelligent printing talents, and provide services for the national "double first-class" construction. The joint laboratory makes full use of the academic resources of Beijing Institute of Printing Technology, integrates high-quality resources inside and outside the school, builds a platform for intelligent printing research and development and application, and promotes the digital transformation of the printing and packaging industry.
Chen Junjiang, chairperson and general manager of Beijing Wulue Technology Co., Ltd., emphasized the important role of industry-university-research cooperation in the intelligent transformation of the printing and packaging industry in his keynote speech. It is worth mentioning that the project "Research on the Maturity Model of Intelligent Manufacturing Supported by Book Printing Equipment", a cooperation between the laboratory and Beijing Printing Group, has been launched. The project aims to rely on the equipment parameter data of the enterprise and the design examples of printing products to formulate the maturity model of intelligent manufacturing of book printing equipment, and guide the optimization and decision-making of enterprises in the process of intelligent transformation and upgrading.
